Note: This is a follow-up to my last Aaron Carter piece in which I expressed doubt over a possible residency

Tell Me You Hit the Bottom of the Show Biz barrel indirectly

So Aaron was telling the truth about a residency. However, it was not what I expected. He will appear Las Vegas run of Naked Boys Singing. I was shocked even after I realized it was Aaron’s new project. After it wore off, I laughed and gagged simultaneously. Even if I was into that stuff, I would want to see the show in general, much less for Aaron. We have every reason to expect this to be a comedy of errors in light of Aaron’s past behavior and the boxing dance with Lamar Odom.

I agree. In something like that, would you want someone like Aaron? I fear for fellow cast members. He will probably be demanding and play the victim when the director tells him to do something he doesn’t

Basically what Aaron would do is a cabaret show. Meanwhile, his brother and BSB are doing massive arenas with sold-out tickets.

The Timing is suspect

It is not coincidental that it runs through the beginning of the Backstreet Boy’s Christmas shows. It seems like the whole purpose is to try to upstage Nick. And when he cannot compete, he will lie about how he was better. However, there is no comparison. Those who really know Aaron Carter won’t be interested. In contrast, the Backstreet Boys shows are in demand. In addition, the baby is due while he will still be doing the show. Since everything revolves around him, he’d probably miss the delivery. But hey, if she is ok with that, I cannot complain. This whole thing makes it look like a sham once again.

Look where Aaron is performing

I was partly wrong about a venue risking its reputation on Aaron. A minor venue has nothing to lose, unlike a major one on the Strip. A quick internet search revealed a Jewel Box theater at the Clark County Library and an erotic history museum. Given the nature of the show, it’s probably the one at the erotic museum.

The Broadway World Las Vegas article called it a comedy. So, my evaluation of it in my tweet might be correct. However, this will give a new twist on the fable-based saying the emperor has no clothes if Aaron dupes everyone involved.

Update it looks like Tom Dangora took the warning seriously and fired Aaron Carter from the show. He stated that Aaron would distract from the attempts to do quality show.
