I guess the original fans are making up for the time they didn’t follow AJ’s crazy hairstyles by following what he does with facial hair. As a original fan who remembered his younger before that and tattoos, I find it ironic. I can understand why his daughters’ wives and even younger lovers don’t like it. They have seen without out it. But it is for these reasons I actually like it. Unlike with Kevin and even Brian’s sometimes scruffy look, it doe seem to age him.

For all of you making a big deal, I am glad he wants to keep it neat. Like too much muscle, too much facial hair can look bad. But honestly, I always thought he looked younger without it. And someone who liked his more youthful look, I gravitated towards the clean-shaven face.

Had to be done! Don’t worry, y’all. It will return in a month.

As with a plant , he just decided to cut it all the way down to help it grow. Shaving it off is better than letting it get unruly looking believe me. He also mentioned that it was itchy. I am sure the heat of LA probably made that feeling worse. Not mention sweat mixed with hairs natural oil makes it even more oily and greasy looking.

But it was not the warning this was… And even many fans who might remember without facial hair were just as shocked as poor Ava and Lyric.

But then again, as females, this is not something we cannot relate directly to, although we have to worry about it in other places. I am sure he anticipated this reaction, and he played off it humorously.
